Survey work

Over the coming weeks, you may see increased activity on site as a number of surveys are undertaken by our technical team.

The surveys are part of our preliminary research helping us better understand the condition of the ground, the type of soils and rock and the prevailing groundwater levels. The work being carried out includes:

  • Trial pits using mechanical excavators to profile the soil
  • Cable-percussion drilling which is looking at the ground conditions deeper underground
  • Rotary drilling which is assessing any rocks within the ground

The surveys will begin in early October and last for around three weeks. Working hours will be 8am to 6pm. Some of the survey work may be noisy in close proximity but it is not anticipated to generate any significant continuous noise.

The survey areas are small and unobtrusive and will be backfilled when complete. We are working with our ecologist to ensure the local environment is properly considered.

Safety is always our highest priority and we will ensure that the survey sites are safe and secure at all times.

If you have any questions about the work, please get in touch via email at: hello@brislingtonmeadows.co.uk or phone, 07342 039 444 (during office hours).
