It is not proposed to provide allotments in the scheme as this was not part of the allocation of the site. Bristol City Council sold land that could have potentially been used for enlargement of the allotments (in the NW corner), to Homes England in order to deliver the housing allocation. It is assumed that demand/need for future allotments would have been considered when the Council made this decision.
Currently there is a Public Right of Way that is used in this area of the site, and there are no reasons why open space under or around the pylons cannot be used for recreational purposes.
