Keepmoat appointed

Homes England is pleased to confirm that Keepmoat has now been appointed as the developer for Brislington Meadows. They will now prepare a Reserved Matters planning application, which will include public consultation later in the year. It is currently anticipated that work will start on-site in 2026

Winter tree works completion

Winter tree works have commenced at Brislington Meadows, with the completion of removing overhanging tree branches to the garages near Alison Road, plus felling of a dead sycamore at this location. The remainder of tree works will be completed on 17th and 18th February to fell dead elms within hedgerows and along the footpath from Bonville Road. The works are health and safety related to reduce impact on the public. The works have been checked for ecological impact and approved by Homes England’s ecologist, the felled wood will either be chipped or stacked in habitat piles, the elms within the hedgerows on the meadows left a 1.3 m high habitat poles.

The contractor will have machinery on parts of the site but will not be blocking access for any extended period, please be aware and understanding of the workforce when in the area if they ask you to divert or wait for them to make a safe passage past.

The remaining works are due to be completed Monday 17th and Tuesday 18 February by Steward Woodland and Land Management.

Bonville Road boundary work

Work to finalise the post and rail boundary fencing along Bonville Road, which began earlier this year, is set to recommence next week and is expected to last approximately two days. The remaining sections of old post and wire fencing will be removed and replaced with post and rail. Some minor scrub clearance will also take place to integrate the new fencing with existing natural barriers, creating a secure boundary. The work is being done outside of seasonal ecological constraints.
