Homes England’s October update – the ‘opportunities and constraints’ document

With much (but not all) of the survey work now complete, Homes England held three update meetings, one with the newly formed ‘Brislington Meadows Advisory Group’ (a group of neighbours, interested parties and community representatives) and two for direct neighbours.

The events included an update on what the team have been doing and ran through what is called the opportunities and constraints document. Rachel Roberts, our lead ecologist, also provided an update.

The opportunities and constraints document looks at all the key considerations (ecology, highways, drainage, topography, ground conditions, neighbours…) and is used to inform the masterplan.

Work on the masterplan options is now starting which we are aiming to start consulting on towards the end of November or in early December. If you have any questions ahead of that, please contact the team.
